Morzouk Lawal

I’m a rising Junior at Morgan State University, currently pursuing a B.S in Electrical Engineering. I plan to pursue a Master’s degree in the near future. Through NSF REU program on Internet of Things (IoT), I am conducting research this summer with Dr. Guo-Jun Qi on developing machine learning algorithm for image classification and semantic segmentation. The goal is to distill useful information from user-generated data such as Images and videos collected from IoT devices. This work will allow users to rapidly retrieve multi-modal content on their smart devices.
