Dean Wasil

I am Dean Wasil, a senior at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, located in central Ohio. I major in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. My interests within Computer Science include software engineering, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things. My extracurricular hobbies include cross country running, calisthenics, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, drumming, playing piano, socializing, and volunteer work. My summer research targeted vulnerabilities in mobile networks. I focused on creating and testing an attack that allowed a victim’s mobile data usage to be consumed by an attacker, a Mobile Data Consumption Attack.
