Alexis Downing
Hello there. I am Alexis De’Andre Downing, a junior at Florida Polytechnic University, located in Lakeland, Florida. I am pursuing B.S in Computer Engineering and my concentration in machine intelligence. I am working on processing data from fluid structures/ interactions with machine learning. I will be working with Dr. Turgut and Dr. Dickerson as my faculty mentors. Also, I have my two graduate mentors and my lab partner. The main goal is to find the maximum deflection of the fiber and how different elements based from the bending energy formula affects it.
