Hello, my name is Jayla Smalls. I am a rising senior, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science & Technology, Spring 2023 from the University of South Carolina Beaufort. In Summer 2022, I will be working with Dr. Hyoung Cho, Dr. Lotzi Boloni, and graduate students on Project 5, “Biopolymer Based Sensors and Actuators”. The goal of this project is to manufacture sensors that can detect toxic substances in a solution.
