Paco-Jaleel Balthazar

Hello! I am Paco-Jaleel Balthazar, and I’m currently a rising junior at the University of Central Florida majoring in electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics. I’m working with Dr. Qun Zhou Sun and Anthony Bishop-Gylys within the college’s Smart Energy Infrastructure Systems lab. Our project, “Designing Microgrids Through Open-Source Modeling and Machine Learning” aims to develop a way to design and a manage a microgrid completely autonomously. This project makes use of various machine learning paradigms including Q-Learning, function optimization, and deep learning neural networks.
